MEMPHIS, Tennessee – It was announced earlier today by U.S. Soccer, that Memphis 901 FC will host Orlando City SC in the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Mike Rose Soccer Complex.
Tickets for the match will be $20 each for bleacher seating and will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. Only 2,500 bleacher tickets will be available and seating in the bleachers will be general admission.
Bleacher seating will cost $30 on matchday, subject to availability.
The fourth-round match will be the first time Memphis has played an MLS opponent.
Memphis advanced to the fourth round Wednesday night with a 4-0 win over Hartford Athletic at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. Forward Jochen Graf scored a brace (two goals) earning Man of the Match honors in 901 FC’s biggest win to date.
Orlando City SC boasts top talent from around the world, led by former Manchester United winger Nani and American international Dom Dwyer. Memphis head coach Tim Mulqueen’s last stop before he became 901 FC’s inaugural coach was in Orlando as the club’s goalkeeper coach.
