Memphis, Tenn. – Kyle Morton has been recalled by Houston Dynamo FC, ending his month-long loan with Memphis 901 FC.
During his five-match stint with Memphis, the veteran goalkeeper recorded 24 saves on 30 shots faced to earn an 80% save success rate in five starts. Morton guided 901 FC to a 2-1-2 record that included two clean sheets during his month in Memphis. On top of his stellar play on the pitch, Morton earned USL Championship Player of the Week honors in Week 12.
While his time in Memphis was short-lived, Morton made his mark on the young club, as the Pennsylvania native is currently fourth in club history with his 24 saves and is tied for the second-most saves in a match with eight (at Birmingham Legion FC, July 10).
