OTTAWA, Ontario, Canada – Memphis 901 FC heads north of the border tonight as it takes on Ottawa Fury FC at 6:00 p.m. CT.
The match will be available locally on CW30 Memphis and on ESPN+ nationwide.
Memphis (2-7-4, 10 pts) returns to USL Championship play after closing out its run Wednesday in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Memphis advanced the furthest out of any team from Tennessee in the prestigious tournament. Now the club aims for three points in Canada’s capital city.
Despite dropping its most recent league fixture, Memphis is still very much in the race for a playoff spot. The club sits just three points out of the Top 10 and still has two postponed matches it has to make up. The club has been in excellent form recently, particularly on the road where Memphis has captured eight points (two wins, two draws).
Memphis will look to take that form into TD Place Saturday against an Ottawa club that hasn’t lost in its past seven matches. Ottawa (6-2-4, 22 pts) sits seventh in the Eastern Conference standings and is led offensively by forward Mour Samb.
Following Memphis’ trip abroad, the club will return home to face Liga MX powerhouse C.F. Pachuca at AutoZone Park on June 22.
