
MEMPHIS, Tennessee –The biggest international event in downtown Memphis’ history is set for Saturday night at AutoZone Park.
Memphis 901 FC welcomes Liga MX powerhouse C.F. Pachuca for the first international friendly at AutoZone Park at 7:00 p.m.
Pachuca, one of the premier teams in North America, brings its impressive résumé to the Bluff City.
C.F. Pachuca kicks off its preseason as head coach Martín Palermo leads the club in his first full season in charge. Palermo is a legend in his own right having established himself as one of Argentina’s top scorers as a player with top Argentine club Boca Juniors.
Palermo brings a loaded lineup to Memphis led by striker Leonardo Ulloa, who won the English Premier League with Leicester City in 2016. Ulloa is also in his second season with Pachuca and scored eight goals last year.
Overall as a club, Pachuca is one of the winningest franchises in North America having won six league titles and the Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League five times.
Gates open for tomorrow’s historic event at 5:30 p.m. with the AutoZone Park plaza opening at 4:30 p.m.
