Memphis, Tenn. — Memphis 901 FC goalkeeper John Berner and midfield Aaron Molloy were selected to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 32, the league announced on Tuesday.
Berner posted a four-save shutout as Memphis claimed the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 3-0 road victory at FC Tulsa on Saturday night. The victory marked the second clean sheet in as many starts for the veteran keeper, who finished the regular season with a 100% save rate. Berner received a team of the week honorable mention after his first start this season in Week 11.
Molloy makes his ninth team of the week appearance this season after scoring his eighth of the season in Saturday’s match. The Midfielder completed 67 of 72 passes while winning three of four tackles, six of nine duels and making 15 recoveries. Molloy finished the regular season second in the league with 10 assists and fifth with 72 chances created.
