Memphis, Tenn. – The United States Soccer Federation announced Memphis 901 FC forward Nighte Pickering has been called up to the U.S. Soccer U-19 Men’s Youth National Team.
Pickering will participate in a January domestic training camp in Miami, Fla., marking the young forwards second stint with the U-19 team and 901 FC’s first U.S. National Team call up.
Pickering became Memphis’ youngest signing in club history during the 2022 season before scoring two goals in seven USL Championship appearances, including a SportsCenter Top-10 and USLC Goal of the Week bicycle kick finish in his debut on August 6.
Before signing with 901 FC, the Birmingham, Ala. native established himself as one of the nation’s top young prospects with seven goals in 20 appearances for the FC Dallas Academy team before earning an invite to the U.S. U-19 team’s April training camp.
