Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC on Monday announced the full technical staff for the upcoming 2023 USL Championship season.
Joining first-year head coach Stephen Glass on the field is assistant coach Mark Spalding. Spalding brings more player development experience to the staff, most recently serving as Head of Intermediate Academy for Rangers Football Club in Glasgow since 2020. The Falkirk, Scotland, native previously served as Technical Director at Global Premier Soccer after being on staff at Dumbarton FC and St Mirren FC.
“We are delighted to welcome such an experienced group of coaches to our club,” Assistant Sporting Director Caleb Patterson-Sewell said. “With the addition of Stephen and the new staff members, we feel we have put together a strong group that will not only help us push our players but to foster and create an even better winning culture here in Memphis.”
901 FC has also added Leandro Spinola as Head of Sports Science. Bryce Beamish will serve as Head Athletic Trainer while Sam McCadams returns as Team Administrator and Equipment Manager.

Memphis 901 FC opens the 2023 season against Loudoun United FC on March 11 at AutoZone Park at 4 p.m. CT. Season tickets are available for purchase now on the club’s website.
