Memphis, Tenn. – The United Soccer League and ESPN announced on Thursday Memphis 901 FC’s July 1 matchup against Phoenix Rising FC will be part of the league’s nine–game national broadcast schedule.
Memphis 901 FC will travel to Phoenix Rising FC Soccer Complex on Saturday, July 1 for an inter-conference showdown to be broadcast live on ESPN2 at 10 p.m. CT.
“We are thrilled 901 FC has been selected for the national ESPN broadcast,” 901 FC President Craig Unger said. “Phoenix has been a top team annually in the west, so for this match-up to be featured to a national television audience is a testament to the growth and quality of our club.”
ESPN+ will air 33 901 FC regular season matches while additional nationally televised broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks, including select matches in Spanish on ESPN Deportes. The 2023 USL Championship Final will air on ESPN2 on Sunday, November 12.
Memphis 901 FC opens the 2023 season on March 11 against Loudoun United at AutoZone Park with kickoff set for 4 p.m. CT. Tickets for all regular season matches are available on the club’s website.
