Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC grabbed their first points of the season with a 1-1 draw to Miami FC on Saturday night at Riccardo Silva Stadium.
901 FC conceded a goal in the 14th minute to go down early. The club dominated possession in the first half but couldn’t find the back of the net with four shots in the half. Memphis equalized in the 80th minute as Miami FC conceded an own goal.
Memphis controlled possession in the second half with a 64% advantage and finished he match with 13 hits to Miami’s eight. 901 FC moved to 0-2-1 with the draw and earned their first points of the 2023 season.
Memphis 901 FC travels to face One Knoxville SC in the second round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on Tuesday, April 4 at 6 p.m. CT.
