Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC matched a franchise record with their fifth-straight victory with a 3-1 win over Louisville City FC on Saturday night at Lynn Family Stadium.
Nighte Pickering left his mark on yet another win for the Beale St. Boys as the 18-year-old striker put away the go-ahead goal in first half stoppage time. Pickering has scored in three consecutive matches and has tallied three goals and two assists in the last four games.
Laurent Kissiedou added to the lead with a chip over the keeper in the 69th minute to make it 2-0, his third goal of the season.
Louisville answered with a score in the 71st minute, but the run was short lived as Rodrigo da Costa put aw his first goal in a Memphis jersey three minutes later.
901 FC moved to 6-2-3 with the victory and extended their unbeaten streak to nine with their last loss coming on March 18.
