Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC earned their signature win of the young season with a 3-2 comeback victory over Charleston Battery on Saturday night at AutoZone Park

Memphis showed their dangerous counter attacking ability in the 18th minute as Rodrigo da Costa sent a ball into the box that deflected off of a defender and landed at the feet of Laurent Kissiedou. The forward put Memphis ahead with a one-time right footed finish, tallying his third goal of the season.
Charleston would equalize with a goal of their own eight minutes later, then take the lead in the 34th minute with goals from Fidel Barajas and Roberto Avila.

A hard-fought second half shifted in favor of the Beale St. Boys as Bruno Lapa broke free in his first action after being subbed in and fed Rodrigo da Costa for a strike into an empty net to grab the go-ahead score. Da Costa grabbed the team lead with his fifth goal of the season.
