Detroit, Mich. – Memphis 901 FC earned a point on the road in a 1-1 draw at Detroit City FC on Saturday night at Keyworth Stadium.
Memphis conceded a first half goal but answered with an impressive score from Luiz Fernando in the second half that evened the score and gave Memphis the point away from home.
Luiz Fernando found the equalizer in the 72nd minute as Memphis gained possession on a counter attack. The Brazilian winger found space in the box and struck a left-footed shot to the far post to score his sixth goal of the season. Jeremy Kelly tallied his first assist of the season with the goal.
