Memphis, Tenn. – The USL Championship on Monday released fixtures for the upcoming 2024 season, Memphis 901 FC’s sixth season in the competition.
With expansion clubs North Carolina FC and Rhode Island FC joining the league, Memphis 901 FC will move to the Western Conference along with FC Tulsa.
“It’s always an exciting time for everyone when the fixtures come out,” Head Coach Stephen Glass said. “Being put in the West throws us a different challenge and we look forward to meeting that challenge to compete at the top end of the division again. I’m sure the fans will enjoy seeing different opponents along with some familiar foes. The players and staff here can’t wait to see you all at AutoZone Park in the new year.”
The 2024 season will kick off at AutoZone Park on March 9 as the Beale Street Boys host Las Vegas Lights FC, followed by another home match against Indy Eleven on March 16.
901 FC will play a 34-match schedule meeting each Western Conference team twice in a home-and-away series for 22 games, and each Eastern Conference team once with six games at home and six games away.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top eight teams in each conference will qualify for the 2024 USL Championship Playoffs kicking off on the weekend of November 1-3, 2024. The playoffs remain a single elimination, fixed bracket format. The USL Championship Final will be broadcast on CBS in late November.
Kickoff times along with single match and season ticket information will be released by the club in the coming weeks. Fans can view the full 2024 match schedule here.
