Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Thursday the club has signed Noe Meza to a multi-year deal, pending league and federation approval.
“Noe has performed at a high level for Union Omaha over the past two seasons and deserves his opportunity at the Championship level,” Assistant Sporting Director Caleb Patterson-Sewell said. “He gives us options across the front line, scores goals, and is an extremely hard worker which is important for our group. We look forward to Noe having a successful 2024 season.”
The attacker out of Sunnyside, Washington, adds goal-scoring flair to the Memphis attack after turning in 23 goals and six assists in the past two seasons with Union Omaha of USL League One. Meza scored two goals in the club’s run to the U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals in 2021 and most recently led the club to the USL1 Regular Season Championship in 2023.
While playing 62 collegiate matches in five seasons at Seattle University, Meza scored five goals in 16 appearances for the Seattle Sounders FC U-23 and the Charlotte Eagles of USL League Two from 2019-2021.
The 25-year-old forward joins Nighte Pickering as well as veteran USL attackers Kyle Murphy and Marlon Santos.
