MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Memphis 901 FC midfielder Cam Lindley has earned his second-straight USL Championship Team of the Week honor, picking up a spot on the Week 30 squad as announced Tuesday by the league.
Lindley filled the stat sheet in Saturday’s 5-0 win against Bethlehem Steel FC, assisting on two goals, taking five shots, and contributing six key passes. He assisted on Elliot Collier’s 7th-minute goal and Brandon Allen’s 29th-minute score, as 901 FC routed Bethlehem for its fifth win in its last six matches.
Lindley tops the team leaderboard with seven assists on the season.
Lindley’s second USL Championship weekly award of the season is Memphis’ fourth weekly award in the last five weeks. 901 FC league honorees this season include Collier (Week 2, Week 18), Wes Charpie (Week 3), Duane Muckette (Week 10), Allen (Week 20, Week 27), Adam Najem (Week 26), and Lindley (Week 29, Week 30).
Memphis is only five points out of a playoff spot with four matches remaining in the regular season. 901 FC is on the road on Saturday to face Indy Eleven at 6:00 p.m. (CT). Memphis’ last two remaining home matches in the regular season are on Saturday, Oct. 12 against Charlotte Independence and Saturday, Oct. 19 against Louisville City FC, and in between is a match at Charleston Battery on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
